WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO US in 2010?

Pioneers May Have Failings,
But They are Not Failures

Ezekiel 13:5 (NKJV) says, "You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the Lord."

Pioneers who have pressed past their own comfort to embrace the Cross of Christ within in order to prepare a way, a place and a people for His presence and His purposes, are having to deal with a great sense of failure. A lot of this is because of the lack of response from others to the Holy Spirit's message and work through these pioneers. My word from the Lord, again, to those pioneers: you are NOT a failure!

Pioneers have failings, but if they have obeyed and endured, they are NOT failures. Pioneers make "all" the mistakes, because they have gone into places no one else has gone, except for the Lord Himself. Pioneers are not promised that they will not make mistakes, but just like Moses, God promises to "be with them." Pioneers are called by God to follow Him, and if they make mistakes, they can LEARN from them, recover, adjust and press on.

As a pioneer, have you ever gone into a boxed canyon? You might have thought, "What have I done? How did I miss God? If I were only more (fill in the blank), this would not have happened." You have not failed. Repent for any self-pity, come out of the boxed canyon and place a sign there that says, "Boxed canyon...don't go in there!" Your seeming failure becomes a path that succeeding generations and followers will not have to take. Having failings does not make us a failure. If we learn from them, it makes us wise, vulnerable and ever more sensitive to the leading and voice of the Holy Spirit.

Both Abraham and Elijah obeyed the Lord and launched out as pioneers into unexplored territory filled with incredible demonic activity. They simply obeyed in love, not knowing what to expect but knowing Who called them, and they were convinced He was faithful to keep them. Both men had personal struggles and failures. But, in spite of their failings, they were not a failure in God's sight. Both Abraham and Elijah received God's stamp of approval for their faith and obedience.

To all those pioneers who have answered God's call to uncharted spiritual or other territory: You may have failed in certain ways or in certain things, but you are not a failure!

There's a Famine "of Hearing" in the Land

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing the words of the Lord. And [the people] shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord [inquiring for and requiring it as one requires food], but shall not find it.Amos 8:11-12, AMP

These are the words of the Prophet Amos that can be directly related to the American Church today. The Church has been dominated by a spirit of stupor because of their continual disobedience to God.

This famine in the land is a blanket of deafness preventing the Body of Christ from hearing the Word. In this fast-paced world the Word is made available by many forms of communication by internet, T.V., books, CDs and DVDs to name a few. There is no lack. The problem is in the hearing of the word as if the word is falling on deaf ears and bringing confusion into the understanding of the spoken Word. It's just like the serpent did in the Garden when he spoke to Eve twisting the original Word of God.

As it is written, God gave them a spirit (an attitude) of stupor, eyes that should not see and ears that should not hear, [that has continued] down to this very day.—Romans 11:8, AMP

The oil spill in the Gulf is only the beginning of this nation's troubles. The only hope (confident expectation) for America is for her to wake up from her stupor and cry out to God. When the Church goes to her knees and cries out to God for mercy, He will hear the prayers of the godly and answer and heal their land (and their seas).

There is no help for this nation apart from God. We must cry out for God to plug the oil well in the Gulf for He's the only one that can do it! And He'll only do it when the Church cries out.

A Promise for God's People

If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.—2 Chronicles 7:14, AMP

This is a powerful Scripture for the Church; not the heathen. It's a promise for God's people; those who are called by His name. Christians are those who walk in the power and authority of Christ. When they cry out God hears them and answers.

When the American Church wakes up and cries out to God, we give Him permission to stop some of these major judgments. The only answer now will be God answering the prayers of His saints. Cry out to God so people will come out of their stupor and begin to hear from Heaven.

Pray for the spirit of stupor on this nation to be broken. There is no shortage of the word, they are not hearing. When you hear, then you obey! Heaven is waiting on the prayers of the saints to answer 2 Chronicles 7:14. The saints must go to their knees!

In short, God is waiting for the redeemed of the Lord to say so!

Library of the Spirit and the Acoustics of Heaven Acoustics of Heaven: A New Sound of Holy Revolution Being Released

There are new sounds, the acoustics of Heaven, being released through the spirit of revelation. As we walk in the Spirit we will begin to hear these fresh heavenly acoustics of a new sound that will produce revolution and the fire of His presence. Just as in Acts 2, there was a "sound from Heaven" released, and the fire followed the sound. The tongues of fire were released following the sound that was as a rushing mighty wind. The breath of Heaven is being released in a new heavenly acoustics sound with fire and glory.

Brilliant Colors in His Presence

Revelation 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

A life of color is a life that has freedom of expression in relationship with God. God is the purest form of Light. The rainbow is found within that light creating a broad spectrum of color and life. The Holy Spirit brings forth the color. Light is composed of the spectrum of a rainbow. Just as a rainbow has many colors, God is light and has beauty and variety in His glory.

Fire of Prayer Being Released

Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

All of these things bring us to a place of fire and empowerment in His glory. Taking a walk into His library of life, revelation and of the Spirit we will experience His sound. His sound will in turn draw us closer to Him. The melodies of the Spirit being released in our hearts are a way that God connects us. Just as a high speed Internet connection gives us a faster line to move from place to place online, God gets us into a higher speed connection through the sounds of worship. It is the speed of sound, the speed of light in His glory. It has a great combustion effect that fuels the fire of His Presence in our lives.

May the Fire of His Glory Burn in You!

God Wants to Help Many WHIP that Slumber Spirit

A Vision of the Spirit of Slumber

The spirit of sleep (or slumber) is deceptive. To have a spirit of slumber on a church or area doesn't mean that people aren't doing anything. They can be very busy working for God but have a spirit of slumber and are asleep to their identity and inheritance. I have met many people who are very busy working in the Kingdom, but they have no clue who they really are and what is the inheritance of the saints in the Light.

This spirit of sleep or slumber is one of the most insidious evil spirits there are because it masquerades as God. People are brought under a "conviction" that they must serve God and work for God. Some people feel guilty if they take a break and enjoy anything. But the Lord has called us to enjoy Him and be with Him and delight in Him. In the original Greek, the translation of "His yoke is easy" in Matthew 11:30 reads like this: "Take My yoke upon you...for My yoke is easy and My burden is light and DELIGHTFUL. It's not harsh and neither is it heavy." The religious spirit makes everything "heavy."

A good friend of mine just wrote to me and said, "I am so worn out and tired—mainly from trying and worrying! I have to do this. I have to stay busy or involved. It's sick!" This is someone who knows what our calling is, but sometimes we get drawn back into the muddy pool of striving, trying and working at it.
