Accelerated Degree Program for Adults

Somerset Christian College announces the launch of a new adult degree completion program titled LEAD – Life Enhancing Accelerated Degree. Classes are scheduled to begin in September in three locations – Rahway, Newark and Morristown – with other locations to be added in the future. Degrees offered are:

• Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership
• Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling

The LEAD Program is ideal for people who already have approximately two years of college credit. In this accelerated format, adult students complete a degree in about 20 months by attending class one night a week year-round. Classes are scheduled at convenient times so that students with full-time responsibilities outside of school are able to participate and complete the program. Adults can complete a degree in less than two years.

Several new degree completion classes begin throughout the year. Excellent instruction is presented in a small class setting. Professional instructors offer a quality education with a consistent group curriculum guide designed to fit the adult learner. Life experience and prior learning can be converted into up to 30 college credits through credit by demonstrated competency. Financial aid is available. Information sessions will be held throughout the area in July and August. For the date and location of information sessions, individuals may contact the college at: www.somerset.edu/lead, or by phone at 800-234-9305.
