Presents “INFUSION” A Women’s Event

Rev. Marlinda Ireland

Nyack College will host, INFUSION: Fresh Hope for the Woman’s Journey, on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 from 9am until 3pm in Bowman Gymnasium on the Rockland County campus. This six-hour event—with appeal to women of all ages and all seasons of life—will offer transformational Bible teaching and testimony, uplifting worship, guided prayer, interactive discussion, fun-loving humor, genuine fellowship, and gourmet goodies.

Rev. Marlinda Ireland is the keynote speaker for this inspirational intergenerational gathering. She is co-founder and associate pastor of Christ Church in Montclair and in Rockaway, NJ, where her husband, Dr. David Ireland is senior pastor. The Irelands founded Christ Church in 1981 and began the ministry with six members. Today the congregation has grown to more than 5,000 members. Between the Montclair and Rockaway campuses, there are two midweek services and seven weekend services.

Pastor Ireland, a 2009 alumnus of Alliance Theological Seminary, will address the theme of “divine delays” from her book, What is God Waiting For? Her ministry in word and song will bring encouragement and inspiration to the married, single, young, old, career person, homemaker, or student. Other segments of the program will feature several extraordinary women leaders from the campuses of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary.

INFUSION Director, Jackie Quinn, also a recording artist and founder of Wildflower Ministries, says, “We are living in a time where people more than ever are in need of fresh hope. We look forward to this outreach opportunity to encourage and strengthen women of all ages through what we believe will be an authentic encounter with God, self, and others.”

“It’s our prayer INFUSION will be a hope-filled, purposeful time that would reverberate in each woman’s life long after she leaves the beautiful Lower Hudson Valley campus on October 2nd,” says Quinn.

Early bird admission price is $35.00 until Sept. 24; thereafter, $45.00. Admission includes a continental breakfast and a gourmet boxed lunch. For registration information, a detailed event schedule, or speakers’ biographies and photos, visit www.nyack.edu/infusion or call 845-675-4455.
