"Ignite" Youth Conference 08
There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to the Father for what He has done in my life. I have experienced so many challenges and obstacles, but the Lord has sustained me and blessed me beyond measure.
I was born and raised, until the age of three, in Jersey City. At that time, I was living with my biological mother, whom decided she did not want me and gave me up for adoption. That’s when James and Deborah Cooper came into my life. They adopted me gave me a new name, and showed me love that I never had the opportunity to experience living where I was. They have been in my life for over 18 years now, which is the same length of time I have attended Faith Fellowship Ministries. It was here, at the age of six that I received Christ and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. My parents are both ministers in the church, as my father is part of our Pastor’s Ministerial staff, and my mother is the church’s Praise and Worship leader. I have taken their lead and example and served in many ministries within Faith Fellowship. I am a musician, and for the past 8 years I have served by ministering on the violin within our church orchestra. I also minister on the keyboard as a part of the worship team within the youth ministry, as well as serve as a youth worker. I attended Franklin High School, and for me, music was always a passion. I took almost five music courses a year, obtained first chair in the orchestra as Concert Master during my senior year, and graduated with honors in the field of music. I am currently a college student at Ocean County College pursuing a degree in Music Education & Performance. I am also on staff at Faith Fellowship Ministries as the Mail and Copy Department supervisor.
God has tremendously blessed me and His hand of favor is undeniably over my life. Everything I am today is a result of God’s love, grace, and mercy. He has opened so many doors on my behalf, and I know that this is just a small portion of what God is getting ready to do in my life. He is no respecter of persons. If He can do it for me, he surely can do it for you!
How can I even begin to tell you how excited I am for Faith Generation Youth Church’s 2008 “Ignite” Youth Conference? I have been a part of Faith Fellowship Ministries for over 18 years, and never have I seen the youth of this church so passionate for the things of God! Within the past year, we have seen so much growth and impact, and had so many positive changes that I can’t help but anticipate what God is getting ready to do next. Last year, we had a phenomenal youth conference with awesome worship and powerful teaching. Hundreds of young people, youth leaders, and pastors from different nations united, speaking different languages, but worshipping one Christ. Every day the mighty presence of God showed up and showed off. There was such a freedom to worship Jesus unashamed and uninhibited. Many of the youth began speaking in tongues and laying hands and praying for one another. The anointing was so strong that we could not leave! By the end of the conference, our young people were completely changed for the glory of God and are continuing to live their lives as an example to this world. We are making Jesus famous! This year, you better believe it is going to be bigger, and better than anything this tri-state area has ever seen! The conference will be held from Monday, July 14th 2008 through Thursday, July 17th 2008. Each day we will have morning sessions and an evening service with pastors and leaders from different ministries. The local pastors that will be ministering during our conference will be Pastor Dewayne Wright, Pastor Jack Redmond, and Pastor Danny Iverson. Also ministering during the conference are, Pastor Ronnie Harrison from World Harvest Church under Pastor Rod Parsley, and Pastor Hooper from Solid Rock Church under Pastor Darlene Bishop. Immediately after each evening service, we will have a blow-out after party concert featuring both local and international music artists. The local artists will be Eric-E, performing Monday, July 14th and B-Luv, performing Tuesday, July 15th. Also we will have live performances from Richie Righteous on Wednesday, July 16th and Ambassador, FLAME, and R-Swift from Cross Movement on Thursday, July 17th. You don’t want to miss this!
