Praise God from whom all blessings flow! It’s so wonderful to be back with you sharing the very best in Christian Music. The summer is in full effect and its time to Praise Him.

July is a fun time to of the year. It’s the month we find ourselves at more barbeques and family gatherings than perhaps any other time of the year. Just like any good party this music review offers a variety of foods for your spirit to feast on. I would highly recommend any of the CDs I am about to share with you to bless you, your family, and friends. Our first CD comes from The Katinas. This contemporary Christian music group offers an inspired project entitled “Still.” I found the music to be soothing to my soul. The track entitled “Free” really encouraged me. Check them out on www.katinas.com.

Next up is a member of one of gospel music’s royal families the Winans Family. CeCe Winan’s new CD entitled “Thy Kingdom Come” is a blessing. From the first track the experience starts of with worship and goes forward from there. A must have project for your collection. Her single Waging War is already impacting radio.

Ok, that was the appetizer for our musical barbecue here is the next course, Gospel Legacy series presents: Leading Ladies. This compilation offers a wonderful selection of music from your favorite female Gospel singers including Pastor Shirley Caesar, Lady Tramaine Hawkins, Angela Spivey and Benita Washington just to name a few. This is a great project. The variety of worship experiences makes it a great CD to put on and let it play!

I hope you left room for dessert because our Local Artists of the Month are none other than: Bishop Albert Jamison & The NY State Mass Choir with a CD entitled Show Yourself Mighty. This project released by Light Records was recorded live and you can feel the presence of the Lord in each track. The praise party starts from track one and just keeps on blessing. I love it, especially the title track. Bishop Albert Jamison & The NY State Mass Choir catch the rising stars! That does it for now, if you are a Local or Independent Artists I want to hear from you.
