In 2012, Bishop Harrison Hale will launch the first ever, “Pastors and Leadership Institute” in Suffolk County. Classes will be held fourth Saturday of the month from 9am-3pm at Cornerstone COGIC, 52 Baldwin Lane, Medford, NY beginning Saturday, January 28, 2012. The purpose of the Pastors and Leaders Institute is to address core issues of church leadership, growth, finances, corporate structure, 501c3, choosing staff, mentorship and various legal matters. What makes this course so unique is that it will enhance the quality of ministry in its totality by inspiring those who have embrace the call of shepherding God’s flock to a higher level of accountability and develop leaders for 21st century cutting edge ministry. It will also develop comprehensive training with courses that will prepare new and senior pastors for twentieth century leadership in the office of pastor, develop core church administrators and serious leaders to assist there local assemblies in the spirit of excellence.

The overall vision is to graduate a class of spiriturally trained and skilled men and women equipped for pastoral care and 21st century leadership and develop a fellowship of pastors who fully understand the importance of being connected and covered along with staff members who share in the burden of church administration. These classes will be taught by Church of God in Christ, Bishop’s who have a proven history of operating in the spirit of excellence for many years. These courses are open to all leaders throughout Suffolk County.
