Editor’s Note: A Kairos Moment
I Chronicles 12:32 "And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do." Understanding the times is so key to us. Timing is everything.
In 1970 when God began to move in my life, I was a mess spiritually, physically and mentally. My life was not pretty. I was struggling in my marriage, my body and I had no peace. Jesus miraculously filled my life with peace and purpose, restored not only my marriage, but time. I can remember crying everywhere, weeping, sobbing and thinking in my head all the years I wasted pursuing empty dreams that left me disillusioned. My heart was aching and He, God came with his wonderful peace and in that moment, He covered me with a "security blanket." He spoke these words "My peace will never leave you. You have already entered into my time. Don't look back but look ahead. I created the day and time for you to enter into my rest." Wow! God really speaks; Yes, He does from His word and through the inner man and woman by His Holy Spirit. I became born again into a new life. My life has started over and I needed to learn His ways and His desires as I committed my life to His life. Disappointments and pain can easily triggered negative emotions like doubt, worry and fear. These thoughts can consume your mind, affect your body and rob your precious time. The enemy likes to wear out the saints so that you will forget your purpose in life. So, much so, that some don't even know the time of day. He will even try to change your season and time if you allow Him to. Loss of time always late, rushing, procrastination are not a sign of a believer that is disciplined in their life and knows the times that we are living in.
Luke 19:41-44. "As Jesus drew near the city and wept over it saying, 'If you had known, even you, especially in this day, the things that make for your peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes. ...44because you did not know the time of your visitation'" Let's not fail to see the hour that we live in and redeem each day.
Kairos time, an opportunity, one moment! See what God sees, Hear what He says. God is saying, what do you see? I see a hurting generation. Then do something about it, not just talk. Put your talk into action; and so I have at least four times a week. As I make my way to the office from Queens, traveling on the # 7 Train to 42nd Street, Port Authority and I listened and watched.
One day as I was leaving the station at 40th Street near Seventh Avenue, I was deep in my own thoughts when I saw a young girl with heavy luggage checking out a map. I asked if I could help her, and at that moment she burst out in tears and in that moment of time it seem as if everything stopped. We were standing in a time zone of God's plan. As we talked she was heading to Texas coming from South Africa traveling by herself, a nineteen year old young lady. I asked about her parents. Her parents were concerned but were happy about her decision. As I showed her the way to get the bus to Newark Airport, we talked and shared about how she was at the point of her life questioning her relationship with God. Ironic? No! A Kairos moment. Inside I was jumping for joy as I listened and ministered to her. I led her to the bus stop and made sure she had the right amount of money and waited until the bus arrived. As she was boarding the bus we hugged and exchanged information and I told her as I've been telling every person I meet on my Mission Outreach, "You will remember this encounter as you tell the story of your stay in New York City, of how God loves you so much, He allowed a Red-Head to stop and share His love for you. This moment and this encounter will set a spark; a Revival of Grace among your friends and families. Oh, by the way, did I tell you she was heading to a Christian Camp in Texas for 2 months. Praise God. What is your Kairos Moment?
An article that is appearing on Page 28, Revival in the Land, Pro-Con; the comments reflected in the article are not those of The Love Express. The Love Express is reporting the events that are taking place in Lakeland Florida and around the world.
In August 2008 edition we will report from a different perspective on this revival.
We the Church of Jesus Christ are in the midst of a great Revival of Grace in the Tri-State Area and around the world.
Let's remember we are brothers and sisters who are striving to live right and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. There is no division and no strife that cannot be fixed without God's help through prayer, forgiveness, and love.
Let Love Prevail.

The Love Express should not be used as a tool for information for their own agenda. The Lord states, “Do not build on another man’s foundation.” Be alert and ask questions, don’t be fooled, don’t be misled by anything that is called Christian. The goal of The Love Express is not to be a paper of competition, strife or jealousy, although sometimes it appears that way. My heart is for the reconciliation of the Body of Christ.
